Boxing Therapy: The sport that changed my life
Facilitated by Caleigh Rykiss

Boxing is more than a sport or a workout – it’s an incredibly powerful activity that builds skill, confidence and a sense of power. That’s exactly what made Caleigh Rykiss – aka CaleighFit – fall in love with the sport over a decade ago. It helped her find her inner confidence, adopt a healthy mindset towards fitness and connect with her inner badass. Now she’s paying it forward to other women who could use a little inspo in their lives and in their fitness routines. Join Caleigh for a special workshop where you’ll hear her inspirational story, learn to train like a boxer and feel the benefits of throwing a 1-2 punch.

Date: July 25, 2018
Time: 6:30pm – 9:00pm
Registration Fee: FREE

Take 10 years as a TV producer, 4 years as a freelance writer and digital content host and combine it with personal training, nutrition and boxing certifications and that’s where you find Caleigh – the voice, face and sweat behind popular body positive Instagram profile @CaleighFit and the Founder and CEO of BOLO (or, BodyLove) new the boxing, fitness and social club taking Toronto by storm!

After a lifetime of abusing diet and exercise, throughout her 20’s Caleigh used the power, strength and focus of boxing to heal her relationship with food, fitness and most of all to help repair her broken body image.

Since then, she’s made it her life’s work to spread the word about using powerful movement to help repair self-esteem, to use her platform to open up difficult but important conversations between women and to challenge the stereotypes that exist in the fitness industry about what a healthy body looks and feels like.

Her missions, to bring a fun, fresh and inclusive perspective to fitness, share her love of boxing, and give a space for people to compromise less, are at the heart of the BOLO brand; a place where you can have your cake and eat it too while surrounded by a strong, supportive and baddass community.
